All Lagoplast regulators are made of THERMOPLASTIC RESIN, which is itself a fundamental safety characteristic. In fact, in case of fire at the valve connection, the resin body of the regulator due to the heat, loses its original shape, allowing the closure of the valve and stopping the gas flow in about a minute. We call it “the fuse effect”.
All Lagoplast regulators meet the European Standard EN 16129 and, upon request, they can be equipped with additional safety devices such as the excess flow valve and the under pressure shut off device.
